Well, the video is actually about the Citizenship Amendment Bill protest in Mizoram. The video that is being circulated is unrelated compared to the government’s recent move on Article 370. The video has been misinterpreted as it is actually a protest organized in Mizoram which was raised against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. The video was broadcast by Northeast Live on January 23, 2019. As per the media outlet, “The influential Mizo Zirlai Paul (MZP) staged a statewide protest and they opposed the bill because they feel it will threaten Mizo identity.” Thus, people came forward and seen burning the effigies of PM Modi and Rajnath Singh. You can watch the footage on 0:18 seconds onward in the clip that is posted below.
