After the abrogation of article 370 and 35A from kashmir, there are hundred numbers of rumors are circulating on social media regarding kashmir. Nowadays people are sharing a photoshopped image on their social media account. Through that image people are claiming that the J&K flag has been removed from the state civil secretariat building in Kashmir.
Famous personality “Indian wrestler Geeta Phogat“ also tweeted the photoshopped image and fueled the same rumor. Social media users are sharing this image blindly
Let’s dig about this, is this real image? is this the truth?
Let’s first check the image, there are several points which proves that this is only a photoshopped image, nothing else.
Point no 1:
The first clue which tells it’s photoshopped image, apart from the flag everything is the same into the both images. Like: people, cars available into the both images are same.
Point no 2:
On 4th August 2019, Dainik Jagran official website published the article along with recent photo of civil secretariat building, where the state flag is visible.
An associate editor of ABP News Mr. Neeraj Rajput tweeted the images of the civil secretariat building on the same day where both the flags can be seen.
It proves that people’s claim, “J&K flag has been removed from the state civil secretariat building” was completely false before today.
Though people shared photoshopped image. The flag, which was hoisted along with the tricolour every day atop the civil secretariat was supposed to be removed on October 31 when the law bifurcating Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) into two Union Territories will come into effect.
Till today we could have said this it was fake news, but today on 25th August, 2019 J&K state flag replaced with tricolor on Srinagar civil secretariat building. So now we can not say this fake news as it’s been removed today.
However, not all government offices have taken off the Jammu and Kashmir state flag yet. Till last week both the flags were seen at the civil secretariat building.
“The removal of flag is in continuation of abrogation of Article 370 and not dependant on official bifurcation from October 31,” said a top source in the J&K government.
By mistake, people shared photoshopped future, even though it wasn’t fake news. We at VerifyKhabar urge you not to share any photoshopped image, any fake news.
The removal of Article 370 and 35A was a decision has brought up much news showing the chaos and confusion...
